Warehouse Pigeon Control Swindon & Wiltshire

Warehouse pigeon control Swindon & Wiltshire for warehouses, industrial estates and commercial yards. Survey-led, compliant work with safe site controls, RAMS where required, and clear reporting so you can show the issue is being reduced — not just “managed” on paper.

I provide survey-led pigeon control for warehouses, industrial estates, commercial yards and large buildings across Swindon and Wiltshire. Air rifles can be used where safe and suitable, but this is never a “turn up and shoot” service. It’s a controlled, documented approach built around safety, legality, disruption management, and measurable reduction over time.

To request a site survey and quote: email hello@stealth-pestcontrol.co.uk (I aim to reply within 24 hours).

Request a Survey & Quote

Email your postcode, site type (warehouse / industrial unit / yard), where the pigeon problem is worst (e.g., loading bays, canopies, rafters, roof voids), your operating hours, and any site access constraints (security, induction, permits). If suitable, I’ll propose survey slots and confirm next steps.

Why Pigeons Become a Warehouse Problem

Pigeons settle where they have repeatable shelter and routine feeding opportunities. On industrial sites this typically means:

  • loading bays, dock shelters and canopies (protected ledges and beams)
  • rafters, roof voids, rooflight frames and gantries (stable roosts)
  • plant areas and sheltered corners (warmth + cover)
  • waste areas, spillages, open containers or staff feeding (easy food)

Once roosting becomes established, pressure usually increases: more fouling, more cleaning, more complaints, more corrosion, more blocked drainage — and more H&S risk.

The Outcome You’re Paying For

You’re not paying for “a visit.” You’re paying for:

  • fewer pigeons using the site as a roost
  • reduced fouling in priority areas (loading bays, entrances, walkways)
  • a safer, cleaner environment for staff and visitors
  • a documented approach that can be justified if challenged (internally or externally)

I’ll tell you what “success” looks like on your site, how we’ll measure it, and what the realistic time horizon is (often a structured plan over weeks, not a single day).

How Commercial Pigeon Control Works (Survey → Plan → Control → Report)

  1. Enquiry
You email your postcode, site type, the problem areas, operating hours and any constraints (security, induction, permits).
  2. Site Survey
I assess roosting points, entry routes, feeding opportunities, hotspot zones, and whether the site can be controlled safely for the methods considered.
  3. Plan + Fixed Quote
You receive a practical plan and a fixed quote before anything starts. No surprises.
  4. Control Work (Where Suitable)
Work is carried out safely and lawfully, with agreed controls to protect staff, visitors and neighbouring units.
  5. Reporting + Next Steps
You receive a short written report with photos, what was done, what changed, and the next steps to stop the site reverting back to the same problem.

Compliance Pack (What You’ll Receive)

Commercial sites need paperwork and accountability. Where relevant to your site and requirements, you will receive:

  • a written plan and agreed next steps
  • a fixed quote before work starts
  • RAMS / method statement where required
  • a short report with photos and recommendations
  • clear working controls (zones, timing, access arrangements)

If you need specific formats for audits (e.g., your internal H&S process), tell me upfront and I’ll confirm what I can provide.

Air Rifle Pigeon Control (When It’s Suitable)

Air rifles can be appropriate for some warehouse and industrial environments — particularly where pigeons are roosting predictably and safe control zones can be created.

Suitability is determined by:

  • safe angles and reliable backstops
  • ability to control the work area (staff, vehicles, visitors)
  • neighbouring units, public access and line-of-sight risk
  • operating hours and site activity levels
  • the building layout and roosting behaviour

If those conditions aren’t met, I’ll tell you straight. I won’t force an approach that isn’t safe or appropriate.

What I Need From You (So This Runs Smoothly)

To avoid delays, please share:

  • site address/postcode and main contact details
  • operating hours and quiet periods (if any)
  • where the problem is worst (loading bays, entrances, roof voids, etc.)
  • any known access restrictions (security gates, escorts, permits)
  • induction requirements and PPE rules
  • any neighbour/public access considerations

Ongoing Control Visits (Monthly / Targeted)

Most commercial pigeon issues are persistent because surrounding roosts and adjacent units keep replenishing pressure. In many cases, ongoing visits are the most cost-effective way to keep numbers down and protect priority areas.

Ongoing plans can look like:

  • an initial focused phase (e.g., weekly/fortnightly attendances)
  • followed by maintenance visits (e.g., monthly or seasonal)
  • with adjustments based on what’s actually happening on site

You’ll get clear scheduling, documented actions and a practical plan to reduce repeat pressure.

Prevention Advice (The Part That Stops Repeat Problems)

Control work alone rarely holds if the site still offers easy roosting and feeding. I’ll advise on:

  • the exact roosting points to prioritise
  • hygiene and waste controls that reduce attraction
  • weak spots (ledges, canopies, sheltered beams) that keep pulling pigeons back
  • practical changes that reduce pressure without disrupting operations

If you already have cleaning/maintenance contractors, this advice helps them target the real drivers of the issue.

Safety & Site Control

Industrial sites have real constraints: staff, forklifts, vehicles, visitors, security, neighbouring units and public access. Safety and legality aren’t optional — they’re the whole job.

I won’t proceed if:

  • safe zones and controls cannot be created
  • the risk profile doesn’t allow for the method proposed
  • the requested approach is not appropriate for the site

If you want someone who cuts corners, I’m not your guy. If you want it handled properly, you’re in the right place.

Areas Covered

I cover Swindon and Wiltshire, including Royal Wootton Bassett, Marlborough, Chippenham, Calne, Devizes, Melksham and Corsham. Extended coverage in Gloucestershire, Somerset and Oxfordshire is available by arrangement — email your postcode and I’ll confirm availability.

FAQs

Can you quote without visiting?

I can usually give a rough indication from your details, but I confirm the fixed quote after the site survey.

Do you work out of hours?

Where appropriate, yes. Many sites prefer quieter periods to reduce disruption and improve safety control.

Is air rifle pigeon control always appropriate?

No. It depends on layout, backstops, public access, neighbouring units and whether the work zone can be controlled safely.

Will this disrupt staff or operations?

I plan around your operating hours where possible and agree controls in advance. If conditions aren’t safe, I reschedule rather than take risks.

Do you provide documentation for H&S?

Yes — RAMS/method statements where required, plus a short written report with photos and recommendations.
