By contacting us about work, accepting a quote, or using our website, you are deemed to have accepted these Terms & Conditions.

  1. SCOPE OF THESE TERMS

These terms cover:

  • The provision of pest control and wildlife management services carried out under the Stealth Pest Control name.
  • Your use of the Stealth Pest Control website at stealth-pestcontrol.co.uk.

Additional or different terms may be agreed in writing (for example in a quote or service email). If there is any conflict, the specific written terms agreed for a job will take priority over these general terms.

  1. SERVICE TERMS

3.1 Our services

We provide pest control and wildlife management services to farms, rural properties and other clients, primarily using air-rifle and shotgun methods in line with UK law and relevant general licences.

We do not provide structural repairs, full decontamination or biohazard cleaning unless expressly agreed in writing.

3.2 Site assessments and quotations

We may need to visit the site or request detailed information before confirming whether we can accept work and to provide a realistic quote.

Any price indications given before a site assessment are estimates only. A binding quote will normally be confirmed after we have enough information about the site, access, target species and safety considerations.

3.3 Bookings, access and attendance

We will agree a date and approximate time window for visits with you. You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring safe and reasonable access to the land, buildings and affected areas.
  • Informing us in advance about any known hazards (for example livestock, public rights of way, stored chemicals, overhead cables, slurry pits, etc.).
  • Complying with any access or safety instructions we provide.

We reserve the right to refuse or postpone work if, in our professional judgement, conditions are unsafe, illegal, or significantly different from what was described when the booking was made.

3.4 Safety, firearms and RAMS

All shooting work is carried out in line with our risk assessments and method statements, and in accordance with applicable UK firearms, animal welfare, health and safety and wildlife legislation.

We may decide not to shoot in certain directions, locations or conditions, even if you would prefer otherwise, if we believe it is unsafe or inappropriate. Our decision on safety and legality is final.

We also reserve the right to cease work immediately if:

  • members of the public or unauthorised persons are present in or near the danger area;
  • we become aware of previously undisclosed hazards; or
  • conditions change such that continuing would be unsafe or unlawful.

3.5 Fees and payment

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Call-out and service fees will be explained to you before work begins.
  • Minimum call-out charges may apply, even if the job is short or conditions mean only limited work can be carried out.
  • Payment is due on completion of the work or in accordance with the payment terms stated on our invoice.

We reserve the right to charge interest and reasonable costs for overdue invoices in line with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts legislation where applicable.

3.6 Cancellations and missed appointments

If you need to cancel or rearrange a booked visit, you should notify us as soon as possible.

We may charge a call-out or cancellation fee if:

  • you cancel with short notice (for example less than 24 hours before the agreed time); or
  • we attend the site at the agreed time but are unable to carry out work due to lack of access or circumstances within your control.

Any specific cancellation terms on a quote or email take priority over this general policy.

3.7 No guarantee of eradication

Wildlife and pest control involves managing living populations in changing environments. While we take reasonable steps to reduce or control target species, we cannot guarantee complete eradication or that pests will not return after work is completed.

We are not responsible for:

  • re-infestation or reinvasion after a job is finished; or
  • impacts arising from environmental factors outside our control (for example neighbouring land, weather, crop changes or building defects).

3.8 Damage and limitations of liability

We will take reasonable care to avoid damage to property, infrastructure, crops and livestock while carrying out our work.

We are not liable for:

  • pre-existing damage or defects;
  • wear and tear;
  • any loss arising from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you;
  • any indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of profit, anticipated yield, contracts or goodwill.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of a particular job is limited, so far as permitted by law, to the amount recoverable under our insurance or, if lower, the total amount you have paid us for that job.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

3.9 Your responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information about the site, past treatments and any hazards.
  • Obtaining any permissions or consents required from landowners, tenants or other interested parties.
  • Ensuring neighbours, workers or other persons who may be affected are made aware of our presence where appropriate.
  • Following any advice we give on safety, carcass handling, exclusion, proofing or follow-up actions.

We are not responsible for outcomes where you fail to follow reasonable advice or agreed measures.
